    Psychological Assessment

    $220 per session

    The first step to supporting your child’s psychological wellbeing. We use child-centred assessment methods to get to know your young person, learn about your family and build a picture of the needs in the household. This is used to inform and guide next steps for how we can best support you and your child to thrive.

    Individual Therapy

    $200 per session

    We offer therapeutic sessions specifically designed to address your child’s unique needs. One-on-one sessions give children a safe space to explore their thoughts and feelings, learn coping skills and build emotional intelligence. Family sessions build closeness and strengthen relationships across the household.

    Targeted Parenting Support

    $200 per session

    You don’t have to navigate parenting challenges alone. We offer a warm, non-judgemental space to talk things through, gain clarity, and learn practical strategies for supporting your child’s wellbeing. We offer parenting advice that is both grounded in research and a practical real-life understanding.

Who we are

Carley Tiweka is a Child & Family Psychologist based in Ōtautahi Christchurch. She is specifically trained to support families in navigating challenges that come up during childhood and adolescence. Carley brings knowledge and experience in attachment-focussed therapies with a particular emphasis on the principles of Dyadic Developmental Practice and Psychotherapy (DDP). She regularly weaves in tools from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and developmental life skills from Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT). Carley prides herself on creating a warm and safe environment to explore the inner world of children and adolescents, ensuring they have exactly what they need to flourish.
